Layne Elizabeth is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Denton, TX. She has been performing as a solo artist and with her band, The Backup Plan, since she was just 10 years old. Layne has a refreshing and witty songwriting style that she describes as “indie folk.” Her unique quality of phrasing, mellow fingerpicking, and the purity in her tone have helped set her apart from other artists in her genre. Her influences include Ben Rector, Jake Scott, and Dave Barnes.
